The article presents the results of the normative structuring and content of training of bachelor’s degree students majoring in special education in limited conditions by means of elective disciplines. The war has left a devastating impact on the entire education system of Ukraine, activating powerful mobilization resources for survival in limited conditions and fulfillment of the professional roles of each citizen. The author considers the formation of professional competencies of higher education students majoring in ‘Special Education’ in limited conditions using elective disciplines as an important component of special training. The content of the educational program takes into account the needs of the applicant to obtain in-depth educational information about the peculiarities of professional activity in specific requirements, ensures its orientation towards the priority components of the development of the profession, and aims to take into account specific motives, individual actions to solve professionally oriented tasks in current conditions.
