Kozina Zh.L., Dix B., Gorilchanyk OG, Nedbaylo IA, Natarova V.V. Anthropometric, functional and psychophysiological factors of traumatism of qualified basketball players. The purpose of the work was to identify the physical and functional causes of injury and the effectiveness of the application of a comprehensive method for restoring basketball players after injuries of the locomotor apparatus. Material and methods: In this study 21 basketball players took part, 4 of them master of sports, 9 candidates for master of sports, 8 athletes of 1 category. Methods of research: pedagogical method of subjective assessment of weight and intensity of pain sensations, physiological methods of research (maximum performance test, orthostatic test, determination of cardiac rhythm indices, determination of respiratory and cardiovascular system performance), methods of pedagogical testing, method of pedagogical experiment , methods of mathematical statistics. Results It has been established that the traumaticity of basketball players increases as their weight ratios increase. This is due to the biomechanical, functional, psychophysiological, orthostatic and vegetative-vascular characteristics of people of varying degrees of growth, as well as the requirements of the game, which increase as weight-gain indicators of athletes increase, which forces the center and extreme attackers to constantly work at the limit of their capabilities and leads to traumatism. Conclusions Application of effective methods of individualization of training process, one of which can serve as a method of controlling loads on subjective sensations, as well as - effective methods of prevention and treatment of injuries.
