Authors/Creators
Description
Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of the role of verbal markers in reflecting the ethnocultural consciousness of representatives of various ethnic groups. Ethnocultural consciousness includes a system of values, ideas, traditions and customs that form the basis of the collective identity of the people. The work examines the semantics of phraseological units in the English and Kazakh languages, a characteristic feature of which is their anthropocentric focus, implying a close connection of language with a person, his consciousness and spiritual and practical activity.
