Description

Construction of a 3D geometric model based on seismic interpretation and well results was the main task of CO2-SPICER Work Package 2. The surfaces of most prominent lithostratigraphic units forming the reservoir and sealing rocks of the Zar-3 CO2 storage complex served as the main input for the static reservoir model built in Petrel software. The model represents the main input to the follow-up dynamic modelling of the CO2, oil, gas and water flow within the storage complex in WP3 and WP8.
