Description
Background
Sensitivity assessment of the model scenario simulations is essential for model verification and uncertainty assessment. Open question in any simulations is to what degree the obtained results are sensitive to specific selection of the model configuration and setup conditions. This map-based infographics (TURBAN-D22) explores sensitivity and uncertainty in the PALM scenario simulations fro Bergen. The baseline scenario simulation results for Bergen could be found in Esau et al. (2024). The map (the Nmap delivery type) presents variations of critical simulation parameters and brief answers to the model sensitivity questions received during the co-production workshop with the Norwegian project stakeholders (3-5 April 2024, Bergen-Ålesund-Trondheim). This result include analysis of the model sensitivity to grid refinements.
The selected day for the model sensitivity study is 21st July 2019.
