SOCIAL MOBILITY OF WOMEN IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE EMERGING GENDER ORDER FOR ACHIEVEMENT OF EQUALITY

The article uses the concept of “gender order” to analyze the processes of social mobility of women, which explains the reasons for changes in the gender picture of the world in modern conditions. The author cites research by foreign authors and presents partial results from a domestic center dealing with gender issues. Based on the analysis of ongoing research in the world of social mobility, the author comes to the conclusion about the reasons for the rather long tendency in science to exclude women from the analysis of social mobility, which lies in the historically established gender order, a characteristic feature of which was the patriarchal structure of society, and in accordance with it gender distribution of social roles, which became a factor influencing the scientific field and methodological difficulties in research on women's social mobility.
