METHODOLOGY FOR ASSESSING THE ECTS CREDIT SYSTEM IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN WESTERN EUROPE

Description

This article discusses the importance of student assessment criteria in European higher education institutions and the concept of their role in improving the educational process and students' knowledge. It also discusses the concept of objectives of the assessment process and provides an example of a standard assessment process. A brief overview of assessment systems is given, and the advantages and disadvantages of the applied normative-criteria structures are described in detail using examples from leading European universities.
