Description
Japon dinleri, müntesiplerini bedenî ve ruhî yaşamlarında bütünlüğün temel alındığı bir din anlayışına yönlendirmiştir. Bunu sağlayan temel, Şintoizm’dir. Bu din, semitik din geleneğinden farklı bir misyon, eskatoloji, soterioloji ve litürjiye sahiptir. Japonların geleneksel inançlarını barındıran bu dinde, mensuplarının farklı bir dine dair inançları benimsemelerine yönelik bir engel bulunmamaktadır. Ancak bu durum diğer din ve/veya inançların olduğu gibi kabul edilmesi olarak anlaşılmamalıdır. Onlar, diğer inançları bir anlamda yerlileştirerek hayatlarına dāhil etmektedirler. Bu ise, kapsayıcı-çoğulcu bir din düşüncesini beslemektedir.
Abstract (English)
Japanese religions have guided their followers towards an understanding of religion based on integrity in their physical and spiritual lives. The foundation for this is Shintoism. This religion has a different mission, eschatology, soteriology and liturgy from the Semitic religious tradition. In this religion, which embodies the traditional beliefs of the Japanese, there is no obstacle for its members to adopt the beliefs of a different religion. However, this should not be understood as an acceptance of other religions and/or beliefs as they are. They are, in a sense, indigenizing other beliefs and incorporating them into their lives. This fosters the idea of an inclusive-pluralist religion.
