Plateros semimarginatus Pic, 1939: 31.
DISTRIBUTION. ‘Tonkin’.
REMARKS. Pic´s [1939] description reads as follows: ‘ Elongatus, parum nitidus, griseo-pubescens, nigro-fuliginosus, thorace antice et latiraliter anguste testaceo. Long. 4 mm. Tonkin (coll. Pic). Voisin de elongatissimus Pic, élytres moins allongés.’ No type specimens of this taxon were found in the Pic collection at MNHN, and no specimens that would match the above description could be detected in the studied material.
