This dataset is supplementary to:

Liu, C., Sheehan, A.F., Ritzwoller, M.H. (2024) (Under review).

The uploaded file uses NetCDF4 format and contains isotropic Vsv and depth-dependent azimuthal anisotropy.

File format:

Longitude, Latitude, Depth, Para

  • Dimensions:

    • Longitude: -164.2° to -142.8° with 0.8° interval.
    • Latitude: 53.6° to 65.6° with 0.4° interval.
    • Depth: 10 to 200 with 5 km interval
  • Model parameters:
    • vsv: isotropic shear wave velocity (km/s)
    • unc_vsv: uncertainty for isotropic shear wave velocity 
    • fa:  depth-dependent fast azimuth (deg)
    • unc_vsv: uncertainty for depth-dependent fast azimuth
    • amp:  depth-dependent anisotropy amplitude (%)
    • unc_amp: uncertainty for depth-dependent anisotropy amplitude
