Internet slang is becoming an increasingly important element of modern speech culture, especially among teenagers. This research paper analyzes the influence of Internet slang on adolescent speech culture, identifying its role in the formation and evolution of adolescent language practices. The article examines the mechanisms of the formation of Internet slang, its functions in online and offline communication, as well as the consequences of the use of Internet slang for the development of language skills and the cultural context of adolescents.
