Type locality. Vietnam, Lao Cai Province, Sa Pa Town.

Material examined. CHINA: 1♂ (CZZ), Yunnan Province, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yingjiang County [Dzū县], Taiping Town [太ṿā], Longpen Village [ẍüť], Huilonghe [回ẍñ], alt. 1900 m, VI.2022, local collector leg.; 1♂ (CZZ), Yunnan Province, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Longchuan County [km县], Husa Township [Ṗdz乡], Banggunjianshan [ṳē尖Ɯ], 24°22'48"N, 97°50'24"E, alt. 1900 m, 28.VII.2022, Zheng Zhou, Zhi-Wei Dong & Yan-Dong Chen leg.; 1♂, 1♀ (CZZ), Yunnan Province, Nujiang of the Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Lushui City [DZAEṄ], Luzhang Town [ŝạā], Sanhe Village [三ñ ť], 25°55'12"N, 98°45'36"E, alt. 1700 m, 2.VIII.2022, Zheng Zhou, Zhi-Wei Dong & Yan-Dong Chen leg.; 3♀♀ (CZZ), Yunnan Province, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yingjiang County [Dzū县], Sudian Township [Ḝ典乡], alt. 2100 m, 8.XI.2022, local collector leg.

Distribution. Southwestern China (Tibet, Yunnan); northern Myanmar (Kachin); northwestern Thailand (Chiang Mai); northern Vietnam (Lao Cai, Lai Chau) (Didier 1928; Nagai 2002; Fujita 2010; Huang & Chen 2017).

Biological notes. Adults of this species are usually found in decaying wood, but we observed the adults mating on standing decaying wood while the female biting the bark in broad-leaved forests of Gaoligongshan, Yunnan at an altitude of 1800 m at night in August (Fig. 15). The natural habitat in the mountains of Longchuan County, Yunnan is shown in Fig. 14B.
