Description

Recent advancements in Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) have propelled the field towards heightened resilience against both quantum and classical computational threats. Following the pivotal standardization efforts by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in August 2023, the integration of PQC into communication systems has emerged as a pressing challenge. Our work addresses the need for high-speed communications in intra-/inter-Edge/Cloud/High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters. By leveraging Data Processing Units (DPUs), we present the first experimental demonstration of a 92.3-Gbits/s line-rate, end-to-end post-quantum cryptography optical fiber link. Our implementation, featuring Dilithium and Kyber algorithms, not only ensures compatibility with classical cryptographic systems but also sets the stage for secure and efficient communication in the face of evolving cryptographic requirements.
