1957. Tridrepana albonotata albonotata: Watson, Bull. Br. Mus. Nat. Hist. (Ent.), 4: 436.

Distribution: India: South India, Sikkim, Darjeeling (Watson, 1957), Uttarakhand (Smetacek, 2002). Elsewhere: Vietnam (Watson, 1957).

Remarks: Apart from this and below mentioned species, there are four other subspecies: T. albonotata angusta Watson, 1957 (Borneo, Sumatra, Malaysia; T. albonotata rotunda Watson, 1957 (Bali, Java); T. albonotata celebesensis Watson, 1957 (Sulawesi); T. alhonotata ferrea (Hampson, 1892) Sri lanka. However, Holloway (1998) considered all the species under T. albonotata without mentioning Syn. Nov., though in distribution he mentioned different subspecies restricted to specific areas.
