This paper has appraised the role of productivity in Nigeria. It also examines the methods and strategies necessary to enhance and achieve Productivity in the country. The paper discuses measurement of productivity, productivity improvement schemes, and factors affecting productivity in Nigeria. The paper concluded by highlighting some necessary conditions and policy recommendations for achieving high productivity in Nigeria
