Dîwân-i-Mukhliṣ Kâshî (ديوان مخلص كاشى).

Lyrical poems by Mirzâ Muḥammad Mukhliṣ or Mukhliṣâ of Kâshân, who went to Iṣfahân under Sulṭân Ḥusain Mirzâ Ṣafawî (A.H. 1105-1135=A.D. 1694-1722), and died there at the age of sixty; he never visited India; see Rieu ii.p. 709a, iii. p. 1091b; W. Pertsch, Berlin Cat., p. 699, No. 24; A. Sprenger, Catal., pp. 128 and 138; Makhzan-algharâ’ib, No. 2583 (Bodleian Cat., col. 380). Why Rieu, in the Index of his Cat. iii. p. 1171b, fixes his death as late as A.H. 1150 (A.D. 1737, 1738), is not clear, since Ḥazîn mentions him in his tadhkirah among the earliest of his contemporaries, and there is no evidence even that he actually lived to the end of Sulṭân Ḥusain’s reign, that is to say, to A.H. 1135.

This dîwân consists of ghazals only, arranged alphabetically, and beginning, on fol. 56b (in the same way as Rieu’s and Pertsch’s copies):

الهى پرتو از نور يقين ده شمع جانم را

بشو از حرف باطل يكقلم لوح بيانم را
