COP 30 in Afghanistan

Description

In organizing the COP30 simulation, the Organisation of Green Future Afghanistan aims to empower ‘Girls Students’ to become catalysts for change within their communities and beyond. By immersing themselves in the complexities of international environmental negotiations, students not only broaden their understanding of global issues but also develop critical thinking skills and empathy towards differing perspectives  The COP30 simulation serves as a microcosm of the real-world challenges faced by nations striving to mitigate climate change and promote sustainable development. Through research, negotiation, and consensus-building, participants learn the importance of collaboration and compromise in addressing complex environmental issues. Moreover, the simulation provides a platform for students to voice their concerns, propose innovative solutions, and advocate for policies that prioritize environmental protection and equity. As future leaders, students play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of our planet's environmental health. By equipping them with the knowledge and skills gained through simulations like COP30, the Organisation of Green Future Afghanistan endeavours to inspire a new girl’s generation of environmental champions who are committed to building a more sustainable and resilient world for all.
