ABSTRACT

This report presents a comprehensive overview of stakeholder engagement. It considers the initial analysis and definitions of concepts and differences in stakeholder groups, suggests ways to identify the right approach, and reveals the main existing models of stakeholder engagement. The report suggests supplementing and strengthening stakeholder engagement with the theory on communities and their lifecycle. Based on on this and in combination with an understanding of the stakeholder groups and communities relevant for the XR4HUMAN project—a targeted XR4HUMAN stakeholder engagement methodology is suggested.
