THEORETICAL AND COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPT OF "NATIONAL INTEREST" IN FOREIGN POLICY

The article reveals the essence of an important factor in foreign policy - the importance of national interest. It is noted that the main goal of the international policy of any state is security and the implementation of national interests directly related to the national state idea and its essence. The author emphasizes that national interests are ensured as a result of a balanced policy and the foreign policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan is determined on the basis of these important criteria.
