HTR-United - Manu McFrench V3 (Manuscripts of Modern and Contemporaneous French)
Description
Data were used from all French evenly mixed repository in HTR-United where images and transcription were readily available. Only the data from the 1600 to 2100 were used. 100 pages of Spanish Letters (19th) and a little of English are included (20th).
All data follow the same transcription guidelines as far as we know.
Superscript is presented with a ^ before the characters. eg. Mme abbreviation is written M^me in all the dataset we used. Sometime, `<>` would be used to mark strike-through.
All data were produced in eScriptorium with segmentation from Kraken.
