CONFLUIR: DUAS ÁGUAS E AS CONFLUÊNCIAS ENTRE ARTE E ARQUITETURA

RESUMO
Muito mais que pensar as intersecções entre arte e arquitetura, é pensar suas confluências, assim como um rio que antes de chegar ao mar vai sendo incorporado por vários afluentes até ganhar um outro corpo e chegar ao seu fim. Imaginar a arquitetura e a arte como esses afluentes que juntos confluem a um mesmo lugar é acionar um outro vocabulário daquele que não o da arte, apropriar-se de palavras que são usadas para pensar a natureza e suas formações geográficas. Para construir esse pensamento tomo como ponto de partida o trabalho Duas águas, proposto por André Parente e Pedro Varella na Galeria Jaqueline Martins em São Paulo. A partir desse trabalho elaboro uma análise crítica em torno de questões como o Campo Ampliado conceito trazido por Rosalind Krauss e site-oriented de Miwon Kwon.
Abstract (English)
Much more than thinking about the intersections between art and architecture, it is thinking about their confluences, just like a river that, before reaching the sea, is incorporated by various tributaries until it gains another body and reaches its end. To imagine architecture and art as these tributaries that together flow into the same place is to activate a vocabulary other than that of art, to appropriate words that are used to think about nature and its geographical formations. To construct this thought, I take as my starting point the work Duas águas [Two waters], proposed by André Parente and Pedro Varella at the Jaqueline Martins Gallery in São Paulo. Based on this work, I draw up a critical analysis of issues such as the Expanded Field, a concept brought up by Rosalind Krauss, and Miwon Kwon's site-oriented.
