Centaurea stoebe subsp. australis (A. Kern.) Greuter
Artbeschreibung: Mehrjährig, im Herbst neue Rosetten bildend, meist mehrstängelig (Jungpflanzen einstängelig), 40-200 cm hoch. Köpfe 5-8 mm dick, Anhängsel der Hüllblätter jederseits mit 4-7 Fransen. Pappus ca 1/3 so lang wie die Frucht.
Verbreitung global: Südosteuropäisch-westasiatisch
