Description

Modified Icepack v1.1.0 code used to produce the simulations presented in Plante et al. (2024).

Modifications include:

  • Added forcing from GEM atmospheric model.
  • Added column that is initialised with data from SIMBA buoys.
  • New diagnostics related to the ice mass balance.
  • Added porosity criteria for the snow flooding parameterization in the mushy layer thermodynamics.
  • Added free-board dependency for the snow flooding rates (mushy layer).
  • Modified mushy-layer congelation parameterization.
