Paris-compatible national CO2 budgets

Description
This Excel tool can be used to calculate Paris-compatible national CO2 budgets for all countries worldwide.
It allocates a global CO2 budget to countries using a weighted distribution key that takes into account countries’ shares of emissions and population in a base year.
This weighted distribution key reflects the two key dimensions of “current reality” and “climate justice”. For a discussion of further criteria, see the relevant excursus in: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4764408.
The tool also provides the latest emissions data from the EDGAR, EEA, UBA and GCP databases.
