FungiDB: A free, web-based informatics resource for in silico hypothesis testing, data mining and exploration.

Description

FungiDB (https://fungidb.org) is an open-access knowledgebase supporting fungal and oomycete research. FungiDB contains hundreds of datasets (e.g., annotated genomes, transcriptomes, genetic variation data, phenotypes and more). The resource also provides an intuitive web-based interface, enabling comprehensive data mining and visualization solutions. Users can explore the integrated data with the built-in search strategy system or carry out private data analysis with VEuPathDB Galaxy. The genome editor Apollo can support collaborative genome annotation proejcts.

FungiDB is a component of the Eukaryotic Pathogen, Vector and Host Informatics Resource (https://VEuPathDB.org) that empowers users to browse, query, and mine genomic-scale datasets spanning a diverse range of organisms, including hosts (https://HostDB.org), invertebrate vectors of human disease (https://VectorBase.org), eukaryotic microbes, pathogenic and non-pathogenic species, environmental and epidemiological studies (https://ClinEpiDB.org).
