This dataset provided the global validation dataset including planted forest, natural forest, and non-forest in 2015. This dataset was visually interpreted using the high spatial resolution (<1 m) images from Google Earth, and combining the spatial distribution of planted forets, and forest gain map.

1 denotes planted forest, 2 denotes the natural forest, and 3 denotes the nonforest.
