Description
REDCap Custodian
Research projects require novel data workflows and reports. These workflows benefit from scripting and automation which reduce staff burden while increasing the reproducibility of the science. To address these needs, we created REDCap Custodian - an extendable R package - that facilitates data management tasks between REDCap projects and with external systems. Additionally, we can collect system metrics for reporting and correcting erroneous user metadata. We have deployed REDCap Custodian to manage several studies over the past year to improve data quality and lower the burden on the data management team and the investigators.
