Synthetic dataset obtained through numerical modelling comprising short-term vertical and horizontal displacements around a shaft excavated in London Clay

Description
The database comprises the outputs from 1000 finite element axisymmetric analyses of the excavation of a shaft in London Clay. The following geometric inputs were varied using the Latin Hypercube sampling method: Made Ground thickness (adopting values between 0 and 5 m), Terrace Gravels thickness (values between 0 and 5 m), shaft diameter (values between 2.5 and 40 m), shaft depth (values between 10 and 70 m), the proportion of the height of the shaft in contact with London Clay adopting concrete segments (values between 50 and 70%) and the lining thickness (values between 0.2 and 0.4 m). The database includes vertical and horizontal displacements profiles around the shaft (from 0.1m to a radial distance equal to 2xShaft depth) extracted at depth intervals of 0.1xShaft depth, from the surface to the shaft depth.
