Fostering Trust and Transparency through Research Data Curation: A Case Study of the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) from the South African Social Attitude Survey (SASAS) perspective
Description
The HSRC, a South African research institution, committed in conducting impactful social science research received a recommendation to prioritise data management in 2003. By 2008, the organisation mandated the public release of new data sets to support research, policy development and public discussion. Throughout its journey, HSRC has fostered trust and transparency through open sharing of research publications and data.
