Embedding Data Ethics in the Institute for Geospatial Understanding Through an Integrative Discovery Environment (I-GUIDE)

This poster presents our work embedding data ethics in the Institute for Geospatial Understanding through an Integrative Discovery Environment (I-GUIDE). I-GUIDE is building an AI platform for researchers to analyse geospatial datasets and influence government and industry decision-makers. We present two projects: 1) understanding model bias to enhance transparency and accountability; 2) studying how to support in researchers' ethical practices.
