ANALYSIS OF THE PERFORMANCE OF OBSTETRIC NURSES IN NORMAL BIRTH CENTERS USING THE IRAMUTEQ SOFTWARE

Objective: The study sought to analyze scientific production in order to identify the main actions carried out by obstetric nurses who work in natural birth centers with care via the Unified Health System (SUS) in Brazil. Method: Qualitative research, of a descriptive nature, of an integrative literature review type, supported by the steps proposed by Bardin and with the creation of categories using the Iramuteq software. Results: Initially, 37 articles were found in the databases, after implementing the inclusion criteria as complete works, published between 2014 and 2024, Portuguese language and dealing with the professional performance of obstetric nurses in natural birth centers, reaching the end with a sample of 12 articles. The findings point to the protagonism of the professional and freedom of action, as well as higher rates of humanized births, with care based on scientific evidence, in addition to respect for the physiology of childbirth. Conclusion: The presence of EO is essential in birth centers, autonomy in the profession guarantees the professional safer and quality care in addition to strengthening the protagonism of the parturient woman.
