Description
(PART 2)
A novel short (1.0ms) binomial off-resonant RF excitation pulse for water excitation with reduced RF power deposit (LIBOR) was developed and tested in volunteers at 3T. A comprehensive comparison with previously published binomial off-resonant pulses BORR and LIBRE is provided.
This repository contains raw imaging data and anonymized DICOM files (.dcm) of human volunteer experiments performed on a 3T clinical MRI scanner (MAGNETOM Prismafit, Siemens Healthcare, Erlangen, Germany) after written and informed consent was obtained from all participants. In this study, n=3 knee and n=10 cardiac datasets were collected and analysed. In each volunteer, the fat suppression properties of four pulses were studied: LIBOR (1.ms), BORR (1.0ms), LIBRE (1.0ms) and LIBRE (2.2ms). All data was approved for collection and anonymized sharing under regulations from a local Ethics Committee (authorization CER-VD 2021-00708, Lausanne, Switzerland).
