Description
Abstract: Achieving SDG 12 on responsible production and consumption is vital for India’s sustainable economic growth. This bibliometric analysis maps literature connecting SDG 12 to Indian management research. Systematic database search identified 5506 articles on sustainable production, consumption and reporting from 2000-2021. Results show increasing publications and citations, indicating growing research interest and impact. Focus areas like circular economy, eco-efficiency, ethical consumerism and integrated reporting are identified through text and science mapping. Key authors, institutions, journals and collaborations are highlighted. Progress is evident, but opportunities exist to enrich understanding of sustainable procurement, small businesses, e-waste and supply chains. By consolidating literature and empirical insights, this analysis can direct future efforts to implement responsible practices aligned with SDG 12 in India.
