TMEFF2: A Target Enabling Package
Authors/Creators
Description
TMEFF2 is an understudied protein for which there is limited suggestive evidence that it may regulate AD pathology, including its discovery as a component of a brain proteomic module that is heavily associated with both cognitive and pathological AD traits. The target enabling package (TEP) developed will provide validated antibodies, purified protein and a bioinformatic characterization of TMEFF2. We hope this will facilitate the academic and private sector investigation into the potential roles of this enigmatic protein in AD pathogenesis. The aim of this project is to produce TEP reagents to help further understand the biology of TMEFF2 in Alzheimer’s disease.
