Tarpeius egeri Brailovsky & Barrera, 1994

Distribution. This species is known from Brazil and Peru (Brailovsky & Barrera 1994). Ecuador is a new country record.

Material Examined. New Records. Ecuador: Napo: Tiputini Biodiversity Station, 216 m, 0 ° 37’55”S, 76 ° 08’39”W, Insecticidal fogging of mostly bare green leaves, some with covering of lichenous or bryophytic plants, Lot 1992 Transect T-10, 21-X-1998, T. L. Erwin, et al. collectors (Drake, 1); Napo, Res. Ethnica Waorami, 1 km S Onkone, Gare Camp, Transect T-3, plants in terre firme forest, lot 1547, 220 m, 00°39’10”S, 76°26’00”W, 21-VI-1996, T. L. Erwin et al. collectors (NMNH, 1).
