Leptoscelis egregia Stål, 1865
Distribution. Known from Brazil and Peru (Packauskas 2010). Cazorla (2021) listed a questionable (i.e., unconfirmed) record for Venezuela. Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela are new and/or confirmed country records.
Material Examined. New Records. Bolivia: Villa Bella, 10-X-1909 (UNAM, 1); Colombia: Provincia Boyaca, Cumaral, 420 m, 20-I-1953, J. Foerster (UNAM, 1); Meta: San Juan de Arauca, Caño Luria, 24-IX-1987, CHSW (UNDC, 1). Ecuador: Napo: Sector Apuya, 7 km S of Puerto Napo, 27-VIII-1987, P. Parrillo & D. Velastegui (FMNH, 1). Venezuela: Exped. Culebra N. Duida Territ. Amazonas, 7–16-IV-1950, J. Maldonado Capriles coll. (Drake, 1).
