Material for reviewers of article "Establishing large mammal population trends from heterogeneous count data"

This zip file contains all the material accompanying the article entitled "Establishing large mammal population trends from heterogeneous count data" submitted for publication to Ecology and Evolution.

There are two main R files, located in the root directory :

estimate_countratio.R
examplesMEEpaper.R

They execute all the calculations in the article. 

To do so, they use the data sets in the subdirectory data, and produce outputs in the subdirectory output.

Due to restricted access to some data, a companion Zenodo deposit without the data files has been created in parallel. It contains a statement in the data subdirectory stating that data will be sent on demand, with a confidentiality clause. This second deposit will be made public when the paper is published. It is titled
