Application of Corpus Linguistics in Language Learning at School

The article discusses the possibilities of using a linguistic corpus in the educational process. To develop students' linguistic competence in English the process of using corpus and characteristics of the linguistic corpus are presented. The criteria for selecting texts for the linguistic corpus are analyzed and the characteristics it possesses are indicated. The conditions that must be taken into account for using the corpus in the educational process are explained.
