Description

The MATLAB Monte Carlo simulation code used to compare the multi-timepoint protocols described in the paper "Recommendations for Quantitative Cerebral Perfusion MRI using Multi-Timepoint Arterial Spin Labeling: Acquisition, Quantification, and Clinical Applications". The preprint of this paper can be found here: https://osf.io/4tskr.

To run this code, simply download and unzip the "Code" folder and then run the "RunMonteCarloSimulations.m" file. Activating MATLAB's parpool will greatly reduce the run time because parfor loops are used.

This code has only been tested in the Native Apple silicon version of MATLAB 2023b.

If you use any of this code in your own work, please cite the above paper and this repository.
