JULES output from PRIME version 1

Description

This is JULES output from the PRIME v1 framework in support of the PRIME documentation paper submitted to GMD. Data includes three SSP scenarios SSP1.2-6, SSP5.3-4-OS and SSP5.8-5 with data split into three tar files with an appropriate name for each scenario (Table 1). In each tarfile there are data for each of the 9 percentiles (Table 2) used for the analysis and each of the JULES output variables (Table 3) that are included in the paper. All are zipped netcdf files with naming convention as follows.

JULES output variables used in paper:

Variable notation in filename Variable definition in JULES userguide. 
precip Gridbox precipitation rate  (kg m-2 s-1).
t1p5m_gb Gridbox temperature at 1.5m (K)
cv Gridbox mean vegetation carbon at end of model timestep (kg m-2)
frac Fractional cover of each surface type.
resp_s_to_atmos_gb Respired carbon from soil carbon emitted to atmosphere (kg m-2 s-1).
gpp_gb Gridbox gross primary productivity of biomass expressed as carbon (kg m-2 s-1).
npp_n_gb Gridbox net primary productivity of biomass expressed as carbon after nitrogen limitation (kg C m-2 (360days)-1).
runoff Gridbox runoff rate (kg m-2 s-1).

Table 3: List of JULES variables included in the dataset. The JULES variable names are abbreviated in the filenames, this table translates what the name given in the filename means in terms of the data provided.
