Description

This dataset is the output from the National Agroecosystems Model (see DOI: 10.1111/1752-1688.13056 for details) using the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT). There are 36 809 files in the dataset. The files are labeled as:

XXXXXXXXXXXX_SWATflows.csv

Where XXXXXXXXXXXX is the HUC12 number.

Each file contains the following data in tabular format:

huc12 -- a 12-digit Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) Identifier used to identify subwatersheds.

date -- formatted as YYYY-MM-DD (region and OS specific) is the date of the output.

surq_gen -- surface flow (m3/s) generated by the SWAT model on the day (date).

latq -- lateral flow (m3/s) generated by the SWAT model on the day (date).

qtile -- tile flow (m3/s) generated by the SWAT model on the day (date).

Qtotal -- total flow (m3/s) generated by the SWAT model on the day (date). The sum of all flows (surq_gen + latq + qtile).

The dataset is used in the study by Schilling et al., 2024, Evaluation of Flood Metrics Across the Mississippi-Atchafalaya River Basin and their Relation to Flood Damages. Details will be added after completion of the review of the submission.
