  • 1. Assoc. Prof., St. Clements University

Description

For a considerable duration, the notion of political perspective and the correlation between politics and perception has been a subject of prolonged discussion. The depiction of political figures and their self-presentation have a substantial influence on public sentiment and political results in our contemporary, rapidly moving, and media-saturated world. The functionality of democratic societies and the dependability of political institutions rely on the interplay between politics and perception. The objective of this research is to elucidate the intricate interactions within the realm of politics and perception. Furthermore, it explores the intricate connection between fundamental philosophical deductions and political perspective. Politicians' political image include not just their attire and physical appearance, but also their means of communication, policies, and decision-making processes. Political officials depend on their physical appearance to garner popular favor and communicate certain ideas. Political philosophy focuses on intellectuals' examination of power, authority, and the role of people in society, leading to the intricate connection between politics and perception. The influence of technology and media on political image is substantial. The widespread use of social media platforms and the rise of round-the-clock news coverage have resulted in heightened examination of political figures. This has garnered more scrutiny towards their public relations methods and their handling of their public perception. This is a thorough analysis of the concept of representation in democratic systems and its connection to the actual functioning of government.
