Obstacles to international student mobility

Research report on structural barriers of (physical) international student mobility in European Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). It combines the results of in depth research and focus interviews with various stakeholders including NORM partners and accreditation agencies.

The NORM project, a European initiative, strived to challenge institutional barriers to embed student mobility in study programmes at HEIs, namely curricula design and accreditation procedures. The project also aimed to develop an IT solution, the Curricula Matching Tool, to facilitate finding equivalences of courses and curricula between HEIs.
