ENSINO DE BOTÂNICA ATRAVÉS DO USO DAS REDES SOCIAIS -REALIZAÇÃO DE OFICINAS, ABORDAGEM NAS RUAS E CONQUISTAS DE SEGUIDORES

The current modernizations in educational didactics are an essential tool to boost the teaching learning process. If used in a conscious and innovative way, technology can have numerous benefits for young people and even for educators. In this context, the present work intends to contribute with information produced and analyzed during the development of the extension project “Teaching botany through the use of social networks” composed by members of the Universities of the State of Amazonas, which aims to teach basic concepts of botany to characterize the plant's body using social media and complementary activities as equipment for greater engagement of individuals. The activities were divided into three stages: 1) Interaction With the community; 2) workshops on concepts of botany; 3) achievements of followers. With this work it was possible to conclude that  The learning process must adapt to the new instruments that help in the good quality of education so that we have a joint, inclusive and participative society.
