Das Pflanzenreich (Engler), 147, 16 (Heft 85): 21 (Pax & Hoffmann 1924). — Type: Acalypha diminuta Baill.
DESCRIPTION Inflorescences terminal, androgynous; female segment racemose or paniculate; male segment racemose to subumbelliform (in WIOR species). Female bracts minute, non-accrescent in fruit. Female flowers pedicellate; sepals 5; ovary 3-lobed, styles 3.
