Usage guidance (aka profiles) for the machine-actionable Software Management Plan Ontology

Usage guidance (aka profiles) including suggestions of mimimum, recommended and optional properties as well as property cardinality for the metadata schema/ontology maSMP (published at DOI:10.5281/zenodo.7806638, vr. 2.1.0). Although this is the first publicatoin of profiles separated from the metadata schema, we have decided to keep a relation in the versioning of the schema and the profiles, therefore these profiles correspond to vr. 2.1.1.

These profiles are mostly based on the SMP metadata crosswalks from May 2023 and December 2023, and correspond to the types OuputManagementPlan, SoftwareManagementPlan, SoftwareRunAction and SoftwareTestAction defined in the maSMP metadata schema, and to the types schema:SoftwareApplication and schema:SoftwareSourceCode so the proposed properties for these two types are covered.

The maSMP types and maSMP profiles can be visualized in the Data Discovery Engine (DDE) platform. Follow the links and you will get a summary of types and properties, and the corresponding profiles with usage guidelines (e.g., minimum, recommended and optional properties with cardinality).
