Resumo

A atenção despertada pelo advento da pandemia provocada pelo COVID-19, em que muitas pessoas começaram a perceber o quanto os ambientes construídos podem impactá-los, e a crescente divulgação da neuroarquitetura, um questionamento aos entrevistados tem sido recorrente sobre qual a relação entre neuroarquitetura e o feng shui . Tendo como referência Jung e Capra, que fizeram experiências, observações e comparações entre a ciência e a filosofia chinesa, o presente estudo teve por objetivo traçar paralelos entre neuroarquitetura, incluindo-se a psicologia ambiental e o design biofílico, pelo caráter interdisciplinar cujo foco é o ser humano e sua relação com o ambiente, e a prática chinesa conhecida como feng shui , A elaboração foi realizada através de pesquisa bibliográfica em livros físicos e digitais, artigos, teses e apontamentos de aulas. Em virtude da extensão de cada tema, mostramos-se recortes para efeitos comparativos, adequando as pesquisas às condicionantes para elaboração de artigos. Ao longo do desenvolvimento traçamos uma linha do tempo e identificamos pontos de intersecção referentes à relação homem/ambiente e teorias que fazem parte das áreas de conhecimento evidenciadas, com referências ao feng shui, evidenciando que apesar das diferentes nomenclaturas, se assemelham, de onde se conclui a relação interdisciplinar e complementar entre os temas.

Abstract

The attention aroused by the advent of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, in which many people began to realize how much built environments can impact them, and the growing dissemination of neuroarchitecture, a question to respondents has been recurrent about the relationship between neuroarchitecture and feng shui. Having as reference Jung and Capra, who made experiments, observations and comparisons between science and chinese philosophy, the present study aimed to draw parallels between neuroarchitecture, including environmental psychology and biophilic design, due to the interdisciplinary character whose focus is the human being and its relationship with the environment, and the chinese practice known as feng shui. The elaboration was carried out through bibliographic research in physical and digital books, articles, theses and class notes. Due to the extension of each theme, we tried to make cuts for comparative purposes, adapting the research to the conditions for the elaboration of articles. Throughout the development, we traced a timeline and identified points of intersection referring to the man/environment relationship and theories that are part of the areas of knowledge analyzed, with references to feng shui, suggesting that despite the different nomenclatures, they are similar, from where they concludes the interdisciplinary and complementary relationship between the themes.
