MIP Best Practice Guidance

CMIP’s long experience in coordinating model intercomparisons has helped identify a set of practices that allow broad participation and efficient use of resources. These are summarised in the MIP Best Practise Guidance document. 

The document includes guidance on MIP development, design, and documentation.  There is also helpful information given for MIPs who wish to take advantage of the data standards and infrastructure that support CMIP.
