Fig 11 Turret of the nest of Guyalna chlorogena sectioned (2014.07.25, 11:30) and left open by the experimenter. a 17:40. The nymph has just started its job, leaving a drop of fresh soaked clay (fsc) on the inner wall. b 17:49. The nymph comes back; eyes (ey), an antenna (an), a leg (lg), and pronotum (pro) are apparent. Postclypeus and labrum are covered with fresh soaked clay (fsc). c 18:56. Work in progress; an antenna (an) again is apparent. d 19:21. The turret is closed. The nymph's work began at 17:40, for a total duration of 1 h 41 min. The height of this turret, after being sectioned, was 45 mm.
