Type locality: Indonesia, Sula
= Coptobasis biocellata Warren, 1896c: 171
Type locality: Tenimber [Tanimbar Islands, Maluku]
Distribution. Indian records: Khasi (Meghalaya), Nilgiri (Tamil Nadu) (Gupta 1994), Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala (Chandra et al. 2019), Assam, Meghalaya (Joshi et al. 2021). Global records: Tenimber (Walker 1859a), Sula, Celebes, Australia, Fiji (Hampson 1896b), Malaysia (Chandra et al. 2019).
